Your duties will include:Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.Delivering interventions for individuals or small groups to enhance learning.Assisting with classroom management and providing a safe and positive learning environment.Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to help improve outcomes.Working closely with parents and carers to support children’s academic and social developmentWho are we looking for?We are looking for a proactive and experienced HLTA who has:Experience working with children in a school setting, ideally in a HLTA role, a teaching assistant role or similar position.A good understanding of the curriculum and how to support children in their learning across various subjects.A Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 4, or a relevant higher-level qualification).Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with teachers, students, and parents.Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities, often with minimal supervision.Knowledge of how to differentiate teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their best.Patience, resilience, and a good sense of humour.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team but also take initiative when necessary.Please make an appointment to come and meet the Hollyfast team by contacting admin@hollyfast.coventry.sch.uk or telephoning 02476 332521.Interview date 16th MayOur school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
