Once you’ve identified a risk, it will be up to you to take the appropriate action and make an accurate record of your findingsInvestigating the alerts our system generates when there’s suspicious activity on our custo
mer accountsAs part of the Financial Crime team, you’ll assess those alerts to determine if the risk is real and take appropriate action if soThings move quickly in the Financial Crime team and sometimes you’ll need to drop what you’re doing and move seamlessly on to the next thing. One minute you’ll be helping a branch manager check the authenticity of a customer’s ID, the next you’ll be responding to alerts from our transaction monitoring system.What Do We Need From You?You’ll need to be comfortable with working under pressure, decisive, and be able to gather information and articulate it clearly, concisely and accurately to succeed in the role.Financial Crime is complex and there are constant changes in regulations, therefore you will need to be able keep up with these regulatory changes and trends.You’ll also need an understanding in:Fraud PreventionAnti-money launderingMortgage and SavingsVulnerable Customers
