Working at the heart of the Learning and Skills function, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering a high-quality curriculum that equips residents with essential English and maths competencies to support successful resettlement into the community.This is a leadership role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on teaching. You will lead a team of tutors, setting high standards for teaching and learning, while supporting professional development through coaching and CPD. Your ability to manage resources effectively and ensure compliance with assessment and quality assurance frameworks will be key to achieving departmental and service delivery targets.In addition to your leadership duties, you will teach up to 50% of the week, delivering Functional Skills in English and maths to Level 2. You will manage performance data, support quality improvement processes, and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the learner journey.
