Reporting to our Cellar Master, with a dotted line to our Financial Controller and CFO, you will play a key role in financial management, cost analysis and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Raising Purchase Orders (POs): Accurately raise purchase orders through Sage, ensuring costs are correctly allocated to the appropriate cost centres and units.Stock Management: Create stock products on Sage and manage stock levels, including calculating stock values and ensuring the accuracy of stock reporting.Cider Duty Returns: Complete cider duty returns in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to the overall financial strategy of the business.Bill of Materials (BOM) Building: Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) on Sage, ensuring accurate cost allocations for production materials.Dry Goods Depletion Management: Accurately track and manage dry goods depletion on Sage to ensure proper inventory control.P&L Reporting: Prepare and present monthly P&L reports, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting of business performance.Customer Price Lists: Manage and maintain up-to-date customer price lists, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all pricing structures.Product Building on Sage: Build and manage new product lines on Sage, including cost structures, margins, and related financial data.EPR Reporting: Assist in the preparation of EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) reports to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.Sales Reporting: Prepare and present monthly internal and external sales reports, providing key insights into business performance and sales trends.Commercial Analysis: Conduct commercial analysis to support business decision-making, providing actionable insights into costs, margins, and financial performance.What we can offerComplimentary use of our gym and wellbeing classesLook after your wellbeing with complimentary access to our Spa and swimming pools and our exclusive benefit of 50% of Spa Treatments.Enjoy shopping in both our shops on estate and online with 30% discount for all our colleagues and free delivery for any online purchases.Discover exclusive perks with our Discounted hotel stays for staff, accompanied by a fantastic 30% discount at our restaurants.The opportunity to ensure your views are heard and shape the future of the business via our Employee Engine Room.Complimentary garden membership for the Newt and our partner gardens including the Eden Project, Kew Gardens and The Lost Gardens of HeliganComplimentary meal whilst on shift, created using fresh produce from our estate by our dedicated staff food chefsSupport from our Employee Assistance Programme for both yourself and your familyUp to 30 days annual leave each year for our full-time teamWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a finance role, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. Experience with accounting and ERP systems necessary, Sage X3Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software, Excel (Advanced level), and other financial systems. Understanding of cost accounting and stock management principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to cider duty returns, EPR reporting, and stock management.
