Contribute to clinical standards, patient education materials, and collaborative care across services. Take an active role in audit, feedback, and service improvement initiatives.Maintain and enhance clinical skills and professional knowledge through ongoing development and in-service training. Uphold national guidelines and best practice standards, including NICE, RCN, and Marsden Manual.Work independently in clinic and remote settings, providing advanced continence assessments and care in a variety of environments. Offer specialist clinical advice and education to healthcare teams, patients, and carers.Engage in effective communication across health and social care networks. Participate in product evaluation and liaise with suppliers to support service delivery. Ensure safe, evidence-based use of equipment and medical devices.Support safeguarding practices and budget-conscious prescribing of absorbent products. Keep accurate records and uphold accountability in all areas of practice.The Ideal CandidateRegistered Nurse with specialist education in bladder and bowel dysfunction. Experienced in gynaecology, urology, and community care, with a strong background in continence assessment, treatment, and management, including the use of absorbent products.Qualified and experienced in teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals, patients, and carers. Demonstrates ongoing professional development and sound knowledge of national continence guidelines.Proficient in physical examinations, including rectal assessments, with strong infection prevention and control practices. Skilled in delivering complex information sensitively and confidently using initiative in both patient care and service development.Brings leadership insight, caseload management experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
