Every year we help thousands of Londoners with mental health challenges to find fulfilling work, regain confidence, and take the next step in their careers and beyond.The service you will work in….Talking Therapies is an NHS Programme that provides evidence based psychological therapies to treat people with mild to moderate and moderate to severe depression and anxiety disorders.A day in this role looks like….As a Employment Advisor at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Employment Services. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:Support clients with job applications, career advice, CV reviews, and interview techniques to help them secure employment.Assist clients in disclosing mental health status in the workplace and improve relationships with colleagues and managers, ensuring reasonable adjustments are made by employers.Provide money guidance and connect clients to social support services like food banks, housing, and Citizens Advice.Engage with external organizations such as Jobcentre Plus, trade unions, and law centres to signpost clients to additional resources, including employment rights advice and support services like Access to Work.Why Twining-Hestia?Joining Twining-Hestia means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of something bigger.
