What You'll Be Doing:
Join the team as a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist , attending call-outs within the paramedic service to support patients who have experienced falls in the community. This is a dynamic, mobile role that blends clinical physiotherapy expertise with emergency response support. In this role, you will:
* attend to fall-related incidents alongside paramedics
* assess and treat patients safely within their home or care environment
* provide rehabilitation and falls prevention advice
* develop and implement short-term care plans
* liaise with GPs, carers, and community services to ensure safe and effective follow-up
* contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centred care
Requirements & Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates will need:
* a current and valid HCPC registration
* experience in community physiotherapy or falls prevention
* confidence working independently in a fast-paced, mobile setting
* excellent communication and decision-making skills
* a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time locum post, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for part-time applicants. The contract is ongoing , with strong potential for extension based on service needs and performance.
