What You'll Be Doing:
As a Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist , you will play a vital role in supporting patients recovering from neurological conditions such as stroke, acquired brain injury, and other complex neuro diagnoses. Your role will include:
* conducting in-depth occupational therapy assessments
* designing and implementing neurorehabilitation plans
* supporting patients in regaining independence in ADLs
* working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
* contributing to discharge planning and onward referrals
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, applicants will need:
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
* experience working in neurorehabilitation settings
* excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
* the ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT
* strong documentation and communication abilities
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This position is full-time (Monday to Friday), but the service is open to part-time applicants. The contract is ongoing, with excellent potential for extension based on performance and service need.
