So, if you're looking for a role that values your individuality and ambition, read on...What You’ll Be DoingReporting to the Head of Mechanical, the successful Reliability Engineerwill have three direct reports comprising of two Mechanical Inspectors and a Lubrication Technician.This position is a key member of the Tunstead Cement team and plays a vital role in the contribution to the success of the plant reliability by ensuring effective preventative maintenance plans are in place & robust inspection schedules are adhered to alongside investigating & resolving plant maintenance reliability issues.The Reliability Engineer will help to deliver continuous improvement in safety & health, equipment reliability and overall R&M costs of the Cement Plant, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.On a day to day basis, your key responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to):Managing and motivating the Reliability team ensuring coordination and cooperation between departments & plant prioritiesEnsuring all condition monitoring activities are completed as per the inspection calendar & schedule to give a full snapshot of equipment condition and risksApplying preventative and predictive maintenance practices which are measured and monitored by specific maintenance KPI’sCarrying out plant reliability improvement projects leading to operational benefitsEnsuring all plant risks are known and delivered in the respective forumResearching and presenting new technologies or developments that would benefit the uptime of plant equipmentWorking on the Continuous Improvement of the plant CMMS systemWhen required, assisting with the execution of WTA Shutdowns as per direction from the Shutdown ManagerWhat We’re Looking ForIdeally, you will:Have a minimum qualification level of a Mechanical HNC/HND or equivalentExperience in a heavy industry maintenance or reliability environment and/or if you have any experience in a cement environment, this would be a bonus!Experience of industrial plant condition monitoringProblem solving techniques in Root Cause AnalysisTechnical knowledge of preventative maintenance toolsWhy Tarmac As well as the role of Reliability Engineer, we offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives, and benefits:Bonus schemeEnhanced holiday entitlementContributory pension schemeAccess to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc.Access to our Employee Assistance helpline for free andconfidential adviceAccess to join our Employee Communities (employee networks) we currently have nine communities inc.(REACH) Religious, Ethnic, Cultural Heritage, LGBTQ+, Parents & Carers, Ability, Wellbeing, Female Voice and MenopauseTraining and development opportunitiesInterested?
