Responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager role
As the Project Manager you will:
• Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to completion.
• Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Be an expert in the administration of all contracts utilising the support of EP colleagues.
• Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
• Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Deliver innovative technical solutions.
• Manage multiple stakeholders with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Management of Commissioning activities including optimisation of program resulting in lean commissioning periods.
• Co-ordinate with the O&M Team of the facility ensuring that the Asset seamlessly transfers to Operations on completion of the Project.
• Work in accordance with the Industry Best Practice to ensure successful, cost focussed and on-schedule delivery.
• Drive the development of the quality programmes and procedures and implement effectively.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
• Degree qualified in relevant discipline essential
• Relevant Management qualification essential
• Experience working on FIDIC and MF1 contracts
• Experience working in power generation sector on lifetime extension projects highly beneficial
• Experience managing large-scale projects, ideally with value of �50m - �500m
