Key Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients in the surgical and respiratory units.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation goals.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with NHS standards.( Reed , hg-ahp.com )
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Current and valid HCPC registration.
* Proven experience in occupational therapy within surgical and/or respiratory settings.
* Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
