Graduate Solicitor ApprenticeP01703Starting salary £27,544pa with potential progression to £29,383pa on achieving designated skills and experience37 hours per week (hybrid working)Welwyn Hatfield may have a rich history, but we refuse to stay in the past.We are looking to recruit a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice under the Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme to strengthen our team to start in August/September 2025.We want our solicitor apprentice to undertake the graduate apprenticeship leading to qualification as a solicitor, in typically, 2 to 3 years from commencement of the apprenticeship.You must have a degree with a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent.You must be IT literate, enthusiastic and confident with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, able to act on your own initiative and demonstrate a problem-solving approach throughout the apprenticeship.The ideal candidate will have the confidence to deal with various individuals and groups.You will be supported to undertake recognised qualifications whilst gaining invaluable on-the-job experience.You will need to be a team player, reliable, adaptable, conscientious, and able to work to instructions.During your apprenticeship with us you will work across both our Property/Conveyancing team - dealing with a wide range of property and conveyancing matters - and the Litigation Team where you will support the Litigators in dealing with civil and criminal litigation matters.You will develop your legal knowledge, building your academic knowledge of the Law as well as developing your internal and external network and learning about local government and the law relating to local government. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking Legal Service.
