* Job Title: Acute Occupational Therapist - Band 6
* Location: Surrey
* Duration: Ongoing Contract
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week (flexibility available)

* End Date: Ongoing (strong potential for extension)
* Rate of Pay: �29.00-�30.00 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our dedicated acute team as an Occupational Therapist working on the medical wards, where you'll play a critical role in supporting patient recovery and discharge planning. In this role, you will:
* Perform holistic and functional assessments of patients on acute medical wards
* Develop and implement tailored care and discharge plans
* Deliver evidence-based interventions to optimise patient independence
* Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, and discharge coordinators
* Keep thorough and accurate clinical records
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current and valid HCPC registration
* Previous experience in acute or hospital-based settings, ideally on medical wards
* Strong clinical reasoning and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team
* A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum position is available Monday to Friday , full-time hours preferred, but part-time considered. The contract is ongoing , with high chances of extension depending on performance and service needs.
