Right now, we are looking for a Team Manager to play a pivotal role in our Haringey VCS in Haringey.Sounds great, what will I be doing?The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operational delivery of the Haringey VCS Service, ensuring high-quality performance across three teams in collaboration with BEHMHT. It includes managing service performance in line with contractual KPIs and user experience measures, supporting business and equality planning, and ensuring services remain relevant to client and commissioner needs. The role also requires strong leadership in managing client-facing staff, conducting appraisals, overseeing recruitment and induction, and ensuring staff compliance with policy and governance standards. In addition, responsibilities include resource and budget management, promoting partnership working with stakeholders and commissioners, ensuring health and safety, and embedding co-production with service users. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in mental health services, team leadership, safeguarding, and performance monitoring, with a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and collaborative service delivery.What do I need to bring with me?You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.Here's what the team will be looking for:Higher education degree or at least 4 years of working in mental health setting.Experience and understanding of working with or supporting vulnerable peopleExperience of performance monitoring to ensure consistently high service user standardsExperience of team management/supervision including experience of recruitment, induction, supervision, motivation, appraisal, training.Knowledge of methods of monitoring service user support and assessment plansProficient with computer systems and able to support staff to use computer systems effectively by recording client data accurately and to a high standardKnowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriatelyUnderstanding of, and the ability to implement, good Equality & Diversi
