This is an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to join the cardfactory team at our Printcraft manufacturing site in Baildon, West Yorkshire.We benefit from our own large-scale Printcraft print facility, which can produce 270 million cards per annum, with new ranges produced ...As the on-site health and safety contact, you’ll play a key role in driving our safety culture forward. With a clear H&S strategy plan, an internal compliance programme, and a new safety management system already in place, you’ll be joining at a pivotal time to help shape and deliver meaningful change. Compliance & AuditingConduct internal audits and accident investigations, tracking improvements and celebrating successMonitor safety data and trends, providing coaching and supportMaintain legal compliance documentation and support third-party inspectionsCollaborate with Property and Fulfilment teams on asset and audit managementCompletes accident investigations and follows up on near misses and incidentsMonitors data and identifies trends providing additional support and coaching where necessaryCreate, maintain and manage Health and Safety Policy Requirements on site in line with cardfactory Group StandardsRepresent cardfactory professionally when meeting with external stakeholders relating to H&S (i.e., Claims Inspectors/Auditors) - organises completion of remedial actions as requiredTraining & EngagementDeliver competent H&S adviceRun Health and Safety Meetings to both shop floor and Senior LevelLead toolbox talks and manage the Safety Management System (HSMS)Develop and maintain Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) using our LMS platformEnsure through coaching and education that the Printcraft site and our colleagues follow Group H&S Policies and Procedures Policy & Legislative AdherenceSupport policy development and ensure alignment with group standardsMonitor performance indicators and contribute to board-level reportingAssist in managing incident investigations and risk mitigation strategies   NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (minimum requirement)Experience managing Health & Safety Management SoftwareComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex issuesExcellent time management and self-organisationA can-do attitude, with a pragmatic, trustworthy, and approachable natureCome and join the party and help us shape a safer, smarter future at cardfactory.
