Marketing Lead – Creative and Planning  Salary - £30,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience) FT 35 hours per week Hybrid - Monthly travel will be involved to our offices in either London or Folkestone Saga Insurance is looking for a Marketing Lead to support the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning in turning marketing campaign briefs into high-performing, platform-ready creative.This role will be the primary contact for creative co-ordination, aiding the Marketing Teams with building out key creative plans whilst working closely with our inhouse creative team. Supporting the delivery of through the line creative from concept to completion across channels, ensuring consistency throughout the customer journey and alignment with overall brand and creative vision.You will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management, can collaborate with a wide range of parties, both internal and external and be able showcase creatives to drive performance and innovation. We believe exceptional work deserves even more exceptional rewards, that's why we have put together an amazing benefits package for all colleagues.BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL COLLEAGUES:Our working week is 35 hours per week, these can be worked flexibly to suit your working style25 days holiday + bank holidaysOption to purchase additional leave up to 5 extra daysPension scheme matched up to 10%Life assurance policy on joining usWellbeing programmeColleague discounts including family discounts on cruises and holidaysRange of reductions and offers from leading retailers, travel groups and entertainment companiesEnhanced maternity and paternity leaveGrandparents leaveCompany performance related annual bonus - Up to 5%Income protectionAccess to Saga Academy, our bespoke learning platformMain ResponsibilitiesPlanning and Coordination Manage creative requests from across the marketing team, ensuring all briefs are clear, comprehensive, and meet quality standards for the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning, internal creative team and/or external supplier.Co-ordinate the production schedule with the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning, copy writers and designers to set priorities, managing deadline and stakeholders’ expectations.Support the quarterly through the line creative refresh across Home, Car, Health and Travel Insurance from brief to delivery, ensure consistency throughout the customer journey across marketing channels.Support wider campaign planning from product offer to large scale ATL campaign.Support cross pollination of agency creative to work into BAU executions.Support the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning to ensure the overall quality and consistency of creative output, adhering to industry standards and brand guidelines.Asset approval, supply and management  Coordinate and handle marketing material approvals to a regulative industry standard from stakeholders via an internal circulation process across performance marketing and ATL activities.To supply approved creative assets to our media agencies and support on QA process, including but not limited to paid search, paid social, display, native and press.Supports annual website article renewal circulation and content update. Co-ordinate substantiation update, manage and update the central substantiation log.Nurturing creative excellence Support on bringing to life customer insights and testimonials to creative journey.Managing the creative catalogues ensuring continuous updates maintaining consistency through the full marketing journey.Support Creative Marketing Manager to create synergies across marketing teams, running creative workshops and co-coordinate output.Staying up-to-date on industry trends, creative innovations, and emerging technologies to inform creative direction.Work across the Marketing Teams to surface creative insights and learnings from tests and creative activity.The Ideal CandidateCreative campaign planning especially across digital platforms.Solid understanding of the marketing material development process.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with various levels within the organisation.Familiarity with Agile methodologies would be advantageousA strong understanding in digital marketing channels will be of advantage Regulated environment experience would be highly advantageousTechnical Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of generalist marketing practice  Creative marketing capabilities Excellent brief writing capabilities and able to translate Behavioural Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Naturally curious and creative individual; able to think around problemsBe able to think outside the box and self solution seekA rigorous and logical thinker to aid with decision makingHigh levels of drive, enthusiasm, and energyConsistently challenges and raises the bar on business and employee performanceCommercially minded, with a strong ‘results led’ focusAbout The CompanyOver the past 70 years we have become the UK's specialist provider of products and services to people aged over 50 in the UK.
