Astute’s Power team is partnering with a large-scale European Engineering and Construction company to recruit as Quantity Surveyor to oversee the Building Services package on a 18 month contract for its Scotland site.
The Quantity Surveyor role comes with a rate of �550-�600 per day.
Key skills:

Take full commercial ownership of the building services package on the EfW project.
*
Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor procurement including tendering, analysis, negotiation, and contract award.
*
Administer and manage contracts (NEC, JCT, or bespoke forms).
*
Assess and value subcontractor applications and variations.
*
Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.
*
Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting to the commercial lead.
*
Support risk and value management across MEP works.
*
Evaluate claims, prepare variations, and support in dispute resolution if required.
*
Liaise with site and project teams to monitor progress and support effective delivery.
*
Ensure full compliance with company commercial processes, project controls, and governance.
