Are you looking for a career where you can make a real difference to our customers?We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join us as an integral part of our marketing team!2025 is the 200th anniversary of the first-ever passenger rail journey, so we’re celebrating our proud history and our bright future.Apply now.What you’ll doThis is an outstanding opportunity to join Southeastern’s busy Marketing team and play a pivotal role in planning and executing highly effective digital marketing campaigns aimed at driving ticket sales, app awareness and downloads, as well as customer engagement and ultimately revenue growth.You will work with the Head of Marketing and the Senior Campaigns Manager as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Southeastern Digital team, and our media planning agency, ensuring the seamless execution of digital campaigns with thorough analysis of campaign data and analytics.This role reports into the Senior Campaigns Manager (SCM) and responsibilities include, but not be limited to:Working with the media agency digital specialists to utilise data-driven insights, finding ways to adjust and optimise campaign performance and budget allocation against key performance indicators (KPIs), such as return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per acquisition (CPA), and conversion rates.In conjunction with key stakeholders, create and maintain a digital marketing roadmap to enhance revenue growth and collaborate with the Digital team and media agency to make recommendations and implement actions for continuous improvement.Identifying opportunities for campaign testing, analysis, and improvement and sharing campaign metrics including digital channel engagement rates and revenue attribution.Understanding what it takes to achieve digital personalisation at scale, including compliant integration of first-party data, delivering DCO, and working with creative agencies.Where will I work?This role is a Monday-Friday position based out of our Head Office in London Bridge (with some hybrid working).Is this role for me?Do you have an outstanding digital marketing background, ideally with a qualification in the field?Do you love analytics and delving into the detail?Are you a commercially minded and collaborative team player who is happy to work cross-functionally to deliver objectives and KPIs? Then this could be the role for you!The experience you’ll needTo be considered for this role we recommend you demonstrate the below in your application;That you have proven experience in managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including setting up, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns to deliver outstanding ROI.That you have experience in making data-driven decisions to maximize ROI.The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including design and content as well as work with external agencies.Effective project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Experience in performance tracking and reporting on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing activities.In-depth understanding of both traditional as well as new and evolving digital marketing channels.Familiar with current marketing best practices and trends to ensure effective campaign execution.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Proficient in digital analytic tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), with a good understanding of Google Tag Manager, MMPs, and other relevant software to track and analyse campaign performance.The ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights to optimize digital marketing strategies.A good knowledge of customer behaviour (ideally within a fast moving retail environment) and the ability to leverage customer insights to drive marketing decisions.A qualification in digital marketing ideally at degree level (Certifications from recognized bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) would also be advantageous such as Certificate or Diploma in Digital Marketing)A creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent attention to detail.As proud members of the ArmedForcesCovenant and DisabilityConfidentScheme, we will offer you an interview if you apply under these schemes and meet the minimum criteria for the role.
