Job Title Workshop Engineer Reporting to Logistics Manager Hours 42.5 hours per week, mostly Monday to Friday Overview To assemble and repair agricultural machines as part of our rework and customer service in the workshop environment. Generally assist with preparation of machines for shows as required. DESCRIPTION OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and repair the whole range of machines as required to meet customer standards Repair and undertake reworks on equipment as required. Maintain the demo kit to a high quality standard based on feedback from users Support exhibitions and demonstrations by prepping machines as required Have a professional approach when dealing with customers Assist colleagues as required Ensure all tasks are completed within health and safety procedures General Statement You may be asked to undertake additional roles and responsibilities from time to time as requested by the Managing Director. You must ensure you comply with the policies and procedure of the organisation at all times. As part of your role you are required to keep your skills up to date and to take part in training and development that is offered. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications Good standard of education Engineering apprentice or time served, preferred Experience · Agricultural or similar engineering experience Skills Flexible approach to work Ability to manage own workload and respond to deadlines Personal Qualities Team player Work on initiative within guidelines Professional attitude to work Customer focussed attitude Hardworking Confident Flexible approach to work tasks and hours Common sense Positive attitude
