Stride (One of the STR Group of Companies) are currently working on behalf of a client to recruit for the following position: Job title: Electrician (Full job description available upon request) Employment type: Temporary to permanent Proposed Start date: Immediate Duration: Circa 3 months and then permanent with the client Location: Lymington, Hants, SO41 (New Forest area) Hourly rate: Up to £14.32 per hour (PAYE) Equivalent to circa £27,500 per annum Hours: 37 per week (Monday to Thursday 08:30 16:30 and Friday 08:30 16:00) 30 minutes unpaid lunchbreak Travel: A vehicle will be provided to undertake business travel only PPE: This will be provided Tools: You would be required to provide all necessary trade specific hand tools An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join our clients Building Works Service, based at their Depot in Lymington. As part of a friendly and professional inhouse workforce you will be responsible for the delivery of Planned and Reactive Maintenance works on the Council Housing stock, and public buildings throughout the district. The successful candidate will be highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of electrical works, including installation, repairs, fault finding, analysis and diagnosis on both domestic and commercial electrical systems. The ability to work unsupervised and in accordance with strict Health & Safety guidelines is also essential. The right candidate will have completed C&G 2382 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations and be qualified to BS7671 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulations, C&G 2391 Electrical Installations, C&G 2393 Building Regulations for Electrical Installation in Dwellings, C&G 2377 Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing and have a minimum of 4 years post qualification electrical related experience. Registration of the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme or similar would be desirable. What our client can offer in return is a great place to work and a great team to work with.
