Geography teacher required for September start at Oldham secondary school.

Due to a gap in their department from September, our client school are looking to recruit a Geography teacher on a permanent basis, though the initial introduction could potentially be on a temporary basis dependant on the incoming teacher’s preference.

* September 2018 start date

* Full time Geography teaching post, KS3 and GCSE groups

* Payment in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS)

* Easily accessible from Manchester and surrounding areas via public transport

Our client school is a large, well facilitated secondary on the outskirts of Manchester, situated in Oldham with excellent accessibility from surrounding LEAs due to the M60 motorway. Since moving to the purpose built site, the school has seen a consistent climb in all standards including teaching and learning, and the decisive action plan implemented by the Head and their management team has made the school the most improved in Greater Manchester. In terms of attainment and progress, the school achieves in line with the national average and exceeds the governments’ floor standards.
