Who you’ll be working for:
An Engineering organisation with experience in design and fabrication within the challenging Petrochemical, Aerospace and Nuclear sectors.
They have recently secured a large and prestigious project within the Nuclear sector for a well-known client within the Nuclear sector and are looking for multiple Manufacturing Engineers to assist join them on a contract basis.

The people you’ll be working with:
You’ll slot right into a team of Engineers in the Mechanical department as it evolves under the substantial growth in order to deliver the project within the deadlines. At present is it a vibrant mix of Apprentices, Mid Level Engineers and Senior Engineers.

What you’ll be asked to achieve:
In this role, you will be a Manufacturing Engineer that is responsible for evaluating and developing the manufacturing processes in our client’s facility. You will be tasked with improving the manufacturing efficiency, developing workflow and shop floor processes and living and breathing their culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

In order to fulfil this you will be required to:
• Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of a broad range of manufacturing Engineering processes
• Take ownership and demonstrate a hands-on approach to problem resolution to ensure we remain in line with the plan.
• Management of manufacturing queries arising from production in accordance with our business processes for area of responsibility
• Management and implementation of design changes into production ensuing robust controls are maintained within an area of responsibility
• Maintenance of Manufacturing BOM’s and routings and controlling factors within SAP (or similar ERP software).

This role would suit someone with:
• Engineering degree or relevant experience.
• A sound knowledge of manufacturing, material management and industrial engineering.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication skill, both written and spoken.
• Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
