Qualifications/
Experience: Applicants MUST have experience of Production Test systems gained whilst working for an Engine Manufacturer or similar company.

High degree of experience and expertise in various or specific fields of manufacturing such as welding, heat treat, manufacturing technology.

Good understanding of product design to combine with process design expertise.

Analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

College degree in an appropriate engineering or technical discipline combined with a) a good level of appropriate manufacturing experience as either a Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or appropriate equivalent external

Responsibilities: Supporting the manufacturing operation and Product Groups, by translating the product requirements into the executable process.

Being actively involved with suppliers to analyse their current or proposed product/process designs to determine feasibility of using existing designs or modifying the designs to improve process and/or product.

Providing leadership in the implementation of integrated technologies within the factory.

Responsible for managing manufacturing process elements of new product introduction programs

Developing individual presentations on all integration projects and preparing and establishing priorities for cost effectiveness.

Provides technical input to the development of process improvement and reviews capital projects and challenges content of projects for validity and value before sending on to upper management for approval.

Providing direction and guidance to other manufacturing personnel in a continuous effort to improve manufacturing productivity.

Ensure implementation of modern technology and verify the effectiveness of equipment and systems. Establish standards and works with production personnel to resolve problems related to process, tooling, equipment, etc.

Translating key engineering performance criteria into process system controls and pass of criteria for engine testing

Analyse existing data and processes to maximise facility OEE and RFT targets through the implementation of new equipment and manufacturing systems

Report project status at key milestones to facility and business stakeholders

Responsible for defining and project management of safety targets, capital and revenue costs, quality performance and project phasing and scheduling.

Specification, management and delivery of key capital expenditure programs across engine testing and product finish processes.

Salary/Rate: �38,000.00 - �47,000.00 depending on experience
