Our client based near Shepton Mallet is seeking an Order Processing Clerk to join the team on a 12-week temp to perm basis. Providing both parties are happy, you will join the company full time.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 37.5

Annual salary: �20,000

The purpose of the role:

The role:

To raise orders/invoices on on the in-house computer system for all customers who send in orders not using EDI

To raise all wholesale invoices

Amend delivered quantities dispatched to match the quantities received by the customer to ensure maximum invoice “match rate”.

Highlight order errors for the team to resolve

To Keep filing of processed orders up to date

Report any in-house software issues as they happen to the supervisor

To deal with sales order returns

Request of all P.O.D.S

To report any shortfalls for wholesale customers

To assist in ensuring compliance to company policy Health & Safety, BRC, legal and customer requirements are maintained and initiating agreed corrective measures where necessary.

To complete any other duties as requested

In the absence of the Sales Clerk a trained person will deputise from the department.

The roles performance:

Accuracy and speed of processing

Following up and resolution of outstanding queries on accounts

The idea candidate must have a financial background and be happy to deal with customer queries.
