Teaching Personnel are looking for a talented individual to join our partner school working predominantly with their EAL students. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.

The role is interesting and varied, and would suit someone who has experience working with young people and who wants to develop their skills as a teaching assistant and/or start a career in an education setting. The role will begin in September until the Easter half term.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

* Ability to motivate and engage young people.

* Excellent written, verbal communication, organisation and ICT skills.

* Accuracy and attention to detail.

* Capability to adapt to working in the class along side the teacher and doing 1:1 or group interventions and be in control with organising this with the class teacher.

* Be aware of students’ individual needs and approaches that can be used to help them achieve outcomes.

* Have a resilient mind-set and positive approach when faced with challenging situations.

* To have a patient and adaptable approach to work.

* The ability to work on your own initiative.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
