A National Autistic Society accredited and soon-to-be digital primary school in Hayes is looking to appoint graduates with proven interest or experience supporting special needs.

This West London based school in Hayes is loved by staff, parents and pupils alike and thrives from the collaborative work of innovative, resilient staff alongside a devoted senior leadership team. The school allows each staff member to flourish and develop while utilising their skills to support each child.

This SEN classroom support assistant role involves 1:1 and 2:1 in class and general support of primary aged pupils with autism and associated learning difficulties. With focus on individual learning and behaviour plans the school ensures that each pupil is able to achieve to their full potential. Due to the needs of the pupils, you will be required to be confident, innovative and open to continued development.

Requirements:

* Degree educated
* Long term commitment of academic year minimum
* Proven experience/interest supporting special needs particularly autism
* 8:30 – 4:30pm hours Mon – Fri
* Live in borough of Hillingdon and can travel to this Hayes based school
* Confident in academic and social support of pupils
