Our Client:
We are working with the North West office of a highly successful regional contractor who would generally take on projects valued up to £20 Million in the North West of England via varied procurement routes.
They secure work via procurement Frameworks and a significant proportion of their turnover comes via repeat business from blue chip clients.
They have grown their pipeline of work in recent years building and refurbishing varied projects including; student accommodation, hotels, industrial units, housing, apartments, care homes, offices and healthcare projects.

The Role:
They are now in a position to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator to add to their current team in line with planned expansion and an extremely healthy pipeline of opportunities.

You will be tasked with receiving tender enquiries and presenting the details to the Directors and agreeing to bid or not, complete the risk register, work with the rest of the pre con team to meet deadlines, sending out and vetting subcontract enquiries, conducting site visits, attending tender review meetings, building up the tender through to tender adjudication and settlement whilst looking for value engineering opportunities, present the financial elements of the tender in line with the clients' specification and help with post tender negotiations.

Ideally, they would like to take an Estimator at Senior level but are also open to taking someone at Estimator level who they can groom in to the role over time.

You will have worked as an Estimator or Senior Estimator previously for a building contractor.
You will be based in or be able to commute to the North West daily.
You will be IT literate (ideally with experience using specialist Estimating software - they use Conquest).
