Shaw Healthcare are recruiting for a Shift Coordinator to join our team based in St Mellons Cardiff. This role will include 1 weekend in 4, Shift pattern is 9am-5pm, 6am -2pm and 2pm-10.30pmObjectives  To work with the Team in providing an effective and comprehensive HR, Recruitment and Agency Fulfilment service within Shaw healthcare and support the Group’s Corporate Plan objectives and vision and values. To work with the Services and agency suppliers to ensure all staffing requirements are achieved. To provide excellent standards of customer service through recruitment and agency fulfilment.Main responsibilities Practice Expectations •       Liaise with key stakeholders including Service Managers and Administration teams to understand the requirements for all assigned temporary and permanent resourcing requirements.•       Working with the team to develop detailed candidate sourcing plans for all vacancies (temporary and permanent), maximising the use of direct channels in order to minimise resourcing spend.•       For permanent recruitment, support the Services through posting role and scheduling interviews.•       For temporary shift cover, support the services through liaising with bank staff and agencies to ensure that the correct staffing levels and skills mix are achieved.•       Ensure temporary staff are cleared to work and added to the system in a timely manner•       Be the first point of contact to the Agencies providing temporary staff•       Maintain the rota system accurately and promptly to eliminate the risk of any over/under staffing•       Drive the recruitment of a regional bank team•       Utilise online resources such as Job-board databases and social networking sites to identify and make contact with appropriately qualified candidates.•       Processing offers and ensuring candidates are engaged through the on boarding journey.•       Build relationships with candidates in target markets in order to develop Shaw healthcare’s reputation as an employer of choice.•       Ensure the effective utilisation of our ATS (currently Tribepad) to capture and manage all candidates.•       Screen all applicants for all assigned vacancies in sufficient detail to ensure that all shortlisted candidates meet the key requirements of the role.•       Maintain contact with candidates throughout the hiring process in order to minimise the risk of candidates withdrawing their application.•       Support the wider resourcing team as required to ensure the best candidate experience and service to hiring managers is maintained.•       Work with the marketing team to produce recruitment materials for sites •       Own and update recruitment trackers as and when required. Ideal candidate Essential Criteria Measurement   A I AS IT literate, including the use of basic range of software packages a a a Effective written and verbal communication skills a a a Being an effective team member and also able to work with minimal supervision a a a Be approachable, responsive and empathic   a a Satisfactory police check and check against barred lists a a a Excellent time management skills a a a Availability to work on call and out of hours when required   a a   Desirable Criteria Measurement   A I AS Ability to travel to recruitment events when required a a a Experience of working in a care or agency environment a a a
