The Role:
The successful Occupational Health Advisor to join our clients` team based in Hereford on a part-time basis (1 days a week - Tuesdays). The successful individual will work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional OH service to their client.
This role involves a range of activities including health surveillance and fitness assessments as well as delivering health and wellbeing promotion and undertaking case management.
You will provide expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice, and also provide professional, comprehensive and evidence based written reports.
You will provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH. and provide fitness medicals and health surveillance while evaluating the results of medicals and surveillance provided, and ensure that the correct advice is effectively communicated.
This role will be roughly 80% health surveillance and fit for work assessment activities, and 20% health and wellbeing promotion and case management
This role provides 25 days Annual Leave (pro rata)
You will be registered with NMC Part 1 and be OH Qualified - Diploma/Degree. This role requires someone who is an excellent communicator.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver the full OH remit and should be proficient in the provision of: Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Drug and Alcohol screening, Case Management, Fitness for role assessment, Health Surveillance, Skin Assessments and Pre-placement questionnaires.
