A little bit about what they need...

The Supply Chain Administrator supports the Supply Chain Team across a variety of functions undertaken by the team. The individual is accountable for the delivery of packaging to manufacturers and the management of assigned suppliers. The Supply Chain Administrator provides holiday cover for different team members and will undertake order processing and export administration as required. The role involves a variety of general administration such as creating spreadsheets, reports and documents and dealing with customer queries over the phone.

As the Supply Chain Administrator, you will be responsible for:

* Manages the delivery of product packaging to suppliers in line with production schedules.
* Undertake weekly stock checks of printed packaging at manufacturers and printers, investigate and resolve any discrepancies, in order to ensure an accurate amount of packaging held in line with agreed production figures.
* Produce accurate production plans for agreed manufacturers, both weekly and long range.
* Troubleshoot problems that occur during production, resolve issues and escalate any concerns as necessary.
* Manage the company's log tags processes including the calibration, dispatch, retrieval, downloading and storage of data.
* Liaise with caterers on regular basis to provide accurate stock figures.
* Update databases with up to date information including manufacture and printer packaging stock counts, packaging data and production figures.
* Provide support across the Supply Chain Team e.g. order processing and export administration for holiday and sickness cover.

Requirements of the Supply Chain Administrator:

* Experience of working in a stock production and logistics environment is essential
* The role will suit an individual who is highly organised, self-motivated, analytical, logical, possesses an eye for detail and can manage and meet deadlines
* Strong IT skills (Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook). Familiarity with MS Navision an advantage
* The ideal candidate will have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
