Science teacher needed for Stockport Secondary School starting in September 2018. This large school are looking to recruit a Science teacher who is new to the profession and looking for a teaching home or an experienced Science practitioner looking to experience a new challenge with career development opportunities.

This is a full time Science teaching post delivering KS3 across the curriculum with movement within the department for a KS4 specialist in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Academically currently achieving well above national averages the school is regularly one of the top performers in their exams in the borough. This is a full time post initially on a temporary basis on an introduction through Teaching Personnel with the option to move on to a school based contract if desired.

Low levels of students are eligible for free school meals due to it’s catchment area and is very traditional in it’s nature. With a sixth form attached there is an option in the future to teach to A Level.

Located in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school has regular public transport routes and is located just off the A523.
