Salary - Negotiable (Around 35k mark)

Shifts - Mon/Fri days however due to the nature of the business may sometimes have to work nights.
Holidays - 33 days including bank holiday
Overtime rate - 1.25

This has opened a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join their team.

About the role

Your role as a maintenance engineer will vary to most typical maintenance roles within today's market. The role is split between working within the engineering department and acting as an asset care engineer.

Your responsibilities as a maintenance engineer include;

* Planned and reactive maintenance on several decontaminations, washing, sealing and packaging lines which allow for the supply of over 350,000 units per day.
* Keeping production downtime to a minimum.
* Electro/mechanical fault finding.

Your role as an asset care engineer;

* Creating training and development plans.
* Implementing training and development plans for operators.
* Liaising between the engineering and production departments.
* Completing project work.
* Developing continuous improvement plans.

About you

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have come from a fresh produce background however candidates with a stable history within process manufacturing will also be considered. You must have experience electromechanically fault finding to a high standard, completing planned and reactive maintenance, and have a history of keeping machine downtime to a minimum.

You must be an advocate for continuous improvement and root cause analysis, hold an aptitude for training and developing others and have a track record of working within a team.
