Mortgage Administrator

Location: Sawbridgeworth, Herts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Mortgage Administrator to join our Independent Family run brokerage specialising in Mortgage and Protection Advice.

Your role will involve working as part of a team, alongside the firm's advisers to provide clients with a professional ongoing financial planning experience through efficient administration and customer service. The successful candidate will be rewarded with continuous personal development within a flexible working environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Mortgage Administrator:

* Deal efficiently with all day to day telephone and email enquiries from clients and providers
* Sorting and distributing incoming post and organise and send outgoing post
* Create and maintain effective filing systems / client files
* Update and maintain the firm's client database as required
* New business processing and application submission.
* Compile, manage and track invoices and payments
* Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies
* Liaising with product providers and mortgage lenders, as and when necessary
* Assisting Advisers in the creation of client financial reports and letters
* Monitor receipt of commission / fee payments from clients
* To work as part of a team alongside the firm's advisers to provide clients with a professional ongoing financial planning experience

What you`ll need to become successful as the Mortgage Administrator:

* Previous office administration experience.
* Previous regulatory or financial industry experience is desirable (not essential).
* A good understanding of mortgage and protection processing
* Excellent communication skills including telephone and email.
* Familiar with Outlook and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
* Familiar with CRM software packages.
* Good report writing skills.
* Methodical and highly organised.
* Accurate with good attention to detail and problem solving

The role is ideally suited to an enthusiastic individual with previous experience in the mortgage or financial services industry looking for a new challenge.
