Showroom Sales Consultant

Location: London

Salary: Basic salary of �25,000 p.a subject to experience plus commission on sales. �40K OTE.

Hours of work: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Summary of the Showroom Sales Consultant role:

Taking telephone and email enquiries for the purchase of all goods and services provided by Smart Fire. Proactively seek out further sales opportunities using company marketing tools and strategies. Attend to customer purchase requirements from showroom meetings, retail and wholesale enquiries. Some occasional Saturdays and exhibitions maybe required at notice.

Responsibilities of the Showroom Sales Consultant:

* Pre sales estimates for installations of all products and follow through to close of sale.
* Cultivate contacts such as architects, designers and developers for sales purposes.
* Follow up leads generated by marketing campaigns.
* Responsibly sell goods and services to customers after taking enquiries.
* Ability to understand and identify business opportunities and build long term relationships with customers.
* Proactively research industry databases to help seek out new business prospects/opportunities.
* Attend the needs of the company's retailers when their clients are sent to the showroom by them.
* Maintain the security & safety of the showroom at all times.

Requirements of the Showroom Sales Consultant:

Qualifications & Training:


* High standard of English Language spoken & written.
* Computer literacy, Competence in Microsoft Office programs.
* Internet Competence, Web and social media skills.
* Technical Sales background. eg. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, furniture, building industry.


* Other spoken European languages.
* Understanding of QuickBooks
* Ability to read architectural plans, Graphic and writing skills.
* Manual driving license valid in UK.


* Interpersonal sales skills, punctuality, Tenacity, positivity, honesty, smart appearance, friendly, confidant, good social skills, team player.

Product Knowledge:


* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Ability to read architectural drawing (CAD).
* Ability to advise the right product according to the drawings.
* Basic understand how heating systems work.


* Excellent London geography knowledge.
* Glamm fire, Bromic and Igneous products and all accessories.
* Knowledge of bioethanol fuel.
* Knowledge of fire place and heating industry.
