Our Client Primary school in Tameside are looking to recruit a behaviour teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The school is Team-Teach trained school; the successful TA will be offered a fix term contract till net September with a chance of being put onto a permanent contract. The successful TA will be working across (KS1/2) students supporting the learner needs as well as working with small groups of students and on 1:1 basis.

The school is an Ofsted Outstanding School that has 132 pupils; you will be working on a full time basis which can lead to opportunities to progress to a permanent position.

The school has designated parking and good transport links. Located in Tameside it is easily accessible from Oldham, Stockport and Manchester, good transport links for non drivers. This outstanding school has a supportive ethos. The successful TA will be supporting students with SEND supporting challenging behaviours . We would require

* Prior experience working with SEND
* Assisting day to day classroom support and assisting with behaviour
* Students age range 4-11
* Developing good relationships with pupils
* Encouraging students to interact with other students within the classroom and activities led by the teacher

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
