I am currently recruiting for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to join our friendly team across West Cornwall for work in September.

The successful candidate will be experienced supporting young people with a variety of SEN within a school setting. You will be supporting pupils in both classroom and 1:1 settings with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Learning Disabilities or Physical Difficulties. You will assist with their daily learning, development and goals in supporting to make a difference.

You must have a passion and enthusiasm for supporting children and young people, with excellent communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work across various school settings with both Primary and Secondary pupils.

About you:

* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or Similar)
* Minimum of 3-6 months experience as a Teaching/Support Assistant or similar
* Experience working with SEN such as Autism, Learning Disabilities or Physical Difficulties
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour

The position is on an ad -hoc, supply basis with opportunity to work within various School settings; including Mainstream, SEN and Pupil Referral Units

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
