We have a Group Insurance Manager position in Fiji that calls for a minimum of 3 years’ experience and relevant tertiary qualification.

The Role
The role and responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:
• Manage agency operations to achieve desired goals and objectives
• Develop action plan and implement insurance business in line with approved agency licences
• Coordinate with principal and implement the operational processes for insurance agency business
• Train staff for insurance services provided to aggressively promote the agency business
• Set KPIs for insurance sales
• Forward all insurance underwriting to the principal as required
• Set high standards and comply with regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent customer service

Applicant Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Business Management, Accounting or Finance related field
• A minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role, dealing with financial institutions or consumer finance
• Strong people, team and relationship management skills
• Extremely organised and detail orientated
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal qualities as well as advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong understanding of financial services industry, products and services
