The Role

This role is to develop and sell long term, high value advertising strategies for our client to existing key accounts and new business, ensuring continuity of business by continually meeting customers` needs. Advertising strategies should be focused around existing products where ever is possible in order to achieve your individual KPI`s and revenue targets.

Responsibilities will include:

- To build and develop strong, long term business relations with existing Key Accounts whilst canvassing new business, to sell the benefits of your products relevant to your customers group in order to achieve your individual KPS`s and revenue targets
- To work as part of the sales team and contribute ideas and feedback
- To be a competent negotiator, proposal writer and presenter with the ability to close high level deals at CEO?CMO level, demonstrating expertise in questioning effectively and matching needs
- To be continually aware of your progress towards targets and activity levels via accurate verbal and written information to be discussed at your 1-2-1 with your direct line manager with an appropriate plan of action to manage any shortfall
- To research and be aware of competitor activity, industry trends and news and identify commercial opportunities from these
- To be able to demonstrate unaided problem solving and decision making
- To be aware of activities across the business and ensure cross-working with other departments to assist both the company and the other departments to achieve their goals
- To ensure that company processes/systems are followed
- Work within the agreed rate/ yield/ cost and profit and loss parameters
- To ensure the correct use of sales force and adhere to all activity KPI`s
- To attend corporate events as required and to represent the company in a professional manner
- Any other relevant tasks as required

Role-specific Skills Required

- Active interest in the media, marketing and advertising
- Knowledge of online publishing and digital media monetization. Knowledge of print publishing and monetization
- Ongoing development of knowledge of all media types
- Attention to detail

- Industry knowledge
- Public speaking/presentation skills
