A rapidly growing company has asked Skills Provision for its recruitment expertise to fulfil their latest requirement.

Currently, the employing company need a Business Development Manager for its bespoke software company, located in London.

Established in 2005 in Malaysia, the company deliver bespoke software solutions through applications, mobile apps and software integration.

Now they are looking to expand their UK and European market and need a talented individual spearhead this.

The company have stated that some travel is involved (approx. 5/6 times per year) and they will also consider applicants based in Europe for the position to work remotely.

*Applicants must hold European Union Citizenship.

• £40k-£60k per annum

Day to Day Activities
1. Lead generation by reaching out to the target market segments in the UK, identifying customer needs & positioning the company’s services
2. Develop marketing programs (email/calling campaigns) to increase awareness of company software with prospects & clients
3. Market research and analysis of potential geo/industry market segments
4. Plan and manage campaigns to draw potential attendees for sales conferences/events & seminars where company software has a presence
5. Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events in the UK
6. Tracking and Reporting

1. Facilitate to build effective sales and formulate business development strategies
2. Spearhead the effort to respond to business enquiries and RFI/ RFPs, working with multiple team members
3. Gathering customer information and requirements to generate the statement of work.
4. Convert leads into in-person or telephonic meetings
5. Maintaining an extensive relationship network with UK clients for getting repeat / new businesses
6. Keeping a track of latest developments through research and competition mapping in the software development space
7. Relationship Management and Customer Satisfaction across the accounts
8. Responsible for preliminary software requirement analysis and for interfacing with the technical team to get the right set of people for discussion with the customer during pre-sales phase
9. Responsible for preparation and maintenance of business presentations as per the prospect requirements

• Previous experience as a Business Development Manager
• Technically savvy- with a good understanding of the bespoke software industry
• Confident in managing client expectations
• Possess excellent communication, listening and presentation skills.
• Possess strong negotiation skills, closing skills, diligent follow-up skills
• Speak and write fluent English, any additional languages would be great.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
