Full time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant required for a Bolton based Secondary Academy from November 2018.

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a distinguished Farnworth based Secondary Academy to recruit a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their support provisions following the half term break. With a high level of SEN needs at school, the Senior Leadership Team have acquired additional funding for identified pupils across Key stages 3/4 and GCSE.

* Full time SEN Teaching Assistant position, from November 2018.
* Must have a minimum of a degree level qualification or equivalent alongside prior experience working with SEN.
* Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Academy with access to state of the art resources within modern facilities.
* CPD training programmes available throughout the academic year including; ‘Effective Behaviour Management’, ‘SEN Carousel’ and ‘Safeguarding Level 2’.
* Earn up to �1300 dependant upon experience.

The responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant will include but may not be limited to;

* Support young people with varying special Educational Needs in class alongside the class teacher.
* Work 1:1 and in small intervention groups to support with the teaching and learning of young people.
* Promote an inclusive learning practice in order to diminish the gap between pupils with SEN and their peers.

Located on the outskirts of Bolton, this Farnworth Academy can easily be accessed via major motorway links and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan. There are also numerous public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
