Are you a Maths teacher wishing to pursue a new teaching position in the New Year (January 2019)?

A large RC Secondary school in the Salford LEA require a full time temporary Maths teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2019. This position will incorporate teaching Mathematics to pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, with full responsibilities for planning, marking and assessing.

This full time Maths teaching position will be offered on a temporary basis due to the nature of the cover required and will continue until December 2019.

* Pay in line with teaching scale point (�23,720 - �39,406 per annum)

“Due to an upcoming maternity leave within our Maths teaching faculty, the Head of Maths wishes to appoint a temporary Maths teacher to join the school from January 2019. The incoming Maths teacher will join a team of eight established Maths specialists and will have the opportunity to collaboratively plan and mark engaging lessons to ensure all pupils can reach and excel their expected grades.

With 1,300 pupils on roll at present, the school is significantly larger than average and upholds the ethos and values surrounding inclusive education for all pupils.

Located in the Swinton region of Salford, our partner Secondary school can be accessed via neighbouring areas Trafford, Leigh and Bolton. The school is near to the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and has an abundance of public transportation links nearby.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
