Full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant required for a Salford Secondary school, starting immediately, fixed term until the end of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a large Salford Secondary school to recruit an experienced SEN TA to work within their support provisions and support individual pupils on a 1:1 basis throughout this academic year.

* Full-time SEN teaching assistant required immediately, initially until July 2019
* Must have prior experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs.
* Access to continued CPD training programmes which include; ‘SEN Carousel, Team Teach and Effective Behaviour Management’.
* Earn up to �1300 per month.

Due to a gap within their support team, this school are looking to appoint a SEN teaching assistant who holds experience working with pupils with special needs. Previous experience working within secondary education is desirable but not essential. All applicants must have transferable skills related to working with secondary aged pupils and hold a passion for supporting the learning of pupils.

This school are committed to early identification of special educational needs and adopts a graduated response to meeting special educational needs in line with policies and codes of practice.

The responsibilities for the incoming SEN Teaching Assistant will include;

* Supporting pupils across all curriculum areas on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Building excellent rapport with pupils in order to support their development and learning
* Share the schools passion and vision of helping each pupil achieve their full potential.

Located in the South of Salford, the school has just over 1000 pupils on roll aged 11-16. There are also numerous public transport options readily available via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Bury and Salford.
