To lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement projects.

To lead problem solving activities utilising industry standard methodologies such as 8D, 5why, 3C, DMAIC, Ishikawa fish bone diagrams, FMEA's, etc

To provide regular updates to Management regarding the effectiveness of projects performed in terms of costs, quality and productivity as applicable.


1 To lead continuous improvement / problem solving activities within the company and its supply base utilising industry standard tools (eg Lean, 5S, 6-sigma, PCPX, APQP etc) and ensure all programs are regularly monitored and progress reported to management in terms of improved efficiency's/quality or cost savings achieved.
2 Maintenance of the Approved Suppliers List, to ensure only those suppliers meeting the necessary requirements are authorised to supply to. Verifying compliance to those requirements. (eg. audits, document reviews, etc) and regular monitoring of supplier quality performance.
3 To ensure calibration/maintenance processes are pro-actively managed such that product realisation tools/equipment are fit for purpose at all times.
4 To review new CI tools for relevance to the company and introduce accordingly.
5 To support the company audit schedule (internal and external) and perform audits, process testing as required.
6 To monitor/maintain Corrective/Preventive Action system and keep Management appraised of progress.
7 To support Production Engineering in the creation, verification and validation of production processes
8 To update customers (portals, emails, etc) as required to address quality metrics/concerns
9 To support product inspection/packing requirements as required.
10 To support the Quality Manager in the administration of the Quality Management System.
