Blackpool Sixth is an outstanding college specialising in 16-19 education, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mathematics Teacher to join our team. This permanent position is well suited to you if you are either looking for the first steps into teaching or if you are looking to advance an already established career in a thriving and supportive workplace, you will predominantly be teaching GCSE but there will be potential to teach A-level for the right candidate.   

Based in the mathematics department you will work closely with others in the department to support your students to achieve their ambitions. The mathematics department offers A-level Mathematics, A-level Further Mathematics, A-level Statistics and GCSE Mathematics. We are an enthusiastic department, who are always looking for new and innovative ideas to engage our students. Our aim is to support all students who come to Blackpool Sixth in their pursuit of mathematical excellence. We are continually striving for perfection and are very student focused in all our decisions.

A day in the mathematics department could see you:

- working collaboratively with others in the department on schemes of work and resources
- inspiring students to develop their knowledge of maths
- using new technologies to plan, prepare and teach
