Your location: The ideal candidate will be home based anywhere between the M62 down to the M25 (Central England)

Are you an experienced UK Sales Manager with a proven track record in growing business within the automated logistics market sector? Do you have a passion for new business sales, business growth and are you driven by selling high-value complex solutions related to automated handling and conveyor systems? If so, I have a great opportunity for a UK Sales Manager to implement, execute and lead a new business sales strategy to increase UK revenues by a staggering �30 million over the next five years.

With the backing of a larger parent company generating more than ?2 billion, the group is investing very heavily in the UK and as a result, we are looking to recruit an ambitious and results orientated UK Sales Manager to play an integral part in growing the UK operation.

The UK Sales Manager will perform the following duties:

* Setting, managing and executing sales, marketing and business development strategies
* Creation of new UK business to �25m/�30m sales within five years
* Selling 100% bespoke solutions with lead times ranging from 3 to 18 months
* Projects can range in value from �200,000 to �20m complete factory systems and up to �500,000 for support contracts
* Meeting client face to face you will be responsible for the entire sales process from lead generation, prequalification and to establish current and future automated logistics requirements
* Conduct company presentations by showcasing my client services as well as presenting technical solutions
* Commercially you will be responsible for contract/terms negotiation, upselling/cross selling, providing commercial support to customers and closing for new contract wins
* Technically you are required to evaluate all enquiries as well as proposing technical solutions
* Selling additional services such as spares and service contracts
* Lead and manage all tradeshows, exhibitions and marketing initiatives
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

The successful UK Sales Manager will have a combination of the following:

* A proven track record in sales or business development
* Suitable sectors include; automation, robotics, ASRS (automated storage retrieval systems), automated logistics and intralogistics but not limited to any other related market
* College degree is preferred or some form of qualification in mechanical or electrotechnical engineering, preferably with additional training in sales or marketing
* Customer focused and solid communicator
* Results oriented, persuasive and negotiation-savvy and strong customer relationship skills
* A full EU driving licence
