To fill, clean and maintain vending machines to the standard required by the Client and Sodexo at SN3 4TZ and HTE
Job Description
Working Monday to Friday, flexible hours, earliest potential start time from 06.00 and to finish shift by 20.30 and Saturday working as per staff rota
Rate of pay £8.55 per hour and following successfully completing  probation period the rate rises to £8.71.
This role involves the following:

Filling and cleaning hot and cold vended drinks machines
Filling sandwich and Confectionery  vending machines
Some vending machines are on mezzanine areas so this role involves extensive manual handling
This is a large manufacturing site so the position involves a lot of walking

Basic Maths and English are required to complete 'sales control sheets' accurately
Basic IT skills are required
Working on your own initiative so you will be required to organise yourself and prioritize your tasks
Previous vending experience preferred but full training will be given
The ability to provide our customers and Clients with a high level of customer service and care is a key requirement for all our positions

Main Responsibilities

To clean and replenish all food and drinks machines and to ensure that the hygiene, cleanliness and safe working of the machine complies with the Company and statutory regulations
To provide high personal standards of performance
To ensure all points of service are adequately stocked and rotated as necessary
To liaise with the Vending Co-Ordinator and Vending Engineer and record any breakdowns of machines to comply with Sodexo standards
To carry out any necessary minor repairs or services and report any major faults to ensure that all

machines are regularly serviced

To complete all necessary admin and weekly stock take to the Company standards and to receive / attend any training as necessary
To provide an efficient, attentive and friendly service to all customers
To attend to any reasonable management request
To assist in other areas of the catering department as requested

The Ideal Candidate

Ability to read and write English at a reasonable level
Basic IT skills
Ability to complete basic maths
Exhibits characteristics of Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress
Good interpersonal skills enabling good relations with customers, Clients and colleagues
Good communication skills
Willingness to receive, understand and implement Sodexo and Client training
Ability to work as a team player
Ability to organise oneself and prioritise tasks and work alone
Copes well under pressure
Identifies and communicates potential problems to Vending Co-Ordinator
Willingness to accept DLS
Previous vending experience preferred
