Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for work in September?

Teaching assistants required for the new academic year to support some of our key partner Secondary schools based in Wigan.

We have a number of positions that are part time, full time, temporary or permanent dependant on the particular role the school are looking to recruit for. As a Teaching Assistant that works within out client schools you will be working closely with the subject class teachers providing support to pupils within the lesson.

Depending on your experience there will be opportunities to work alongside students with SEN needs or students who show signs of troubling behaviour and require additional support.

The Position;

* Full-time, Part-time, Temporary and Permanent positions available from September.

* You will have the opportunity to earn up �1000-�1200 a month
* Working with students ages 11-16 during lesson and on a 1:1 basis
* Possible opportunity to cover classes in the absence of the class teacher (Developing key skills if you wish to become a teacher in the future.)
* Previous SEN experience is extremely beneficial.
* Must have experience working alongside students that are aged 11-16

Teaching Assistants play a major role within the staffing facilities of our client schools, it will be your job to ensure that the lessons operate smoothly and that students understand the work that has been set by the class teacher. You will quickly find that students within school will look to you for support in and out of class so it is important that you are able to be a good role model consistently.

As a Teaching assistant in out client schools you will be responsible for helping to raise the attainment of students in class.

Dependent on experience you may also have the opportunity to work with students on a 1:1 basis, run small intervention lessons, and cover classes in the absence of a class teacher or work with identified pupils on a daily basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
